And, the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art asked Kendall to join the Board in 2011.
She is regularly featured in leading design and lifestyle publications including California Home + Design, ELLE DÉCOR, Gentry, House Beautiful, InStyle, LUXE magazine, San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco magazine, Town & Country, Traditional Home, and has been covered in over thirty design blogs.
The most recognized design industry sites have run stories on Kendall including One King’s Lane, 1st Dibs, and Decorati. Kendall has appeared on local and nationally syndicated television programs including, Homes Across America, High Tech Home, Sensible Chic, and HGTV.
With degrees from the University of California, San Diego and San Francisco’s Academy of Art College, Kendall has been chosen as a keynote speaker at U.C.’s “Who’s Who in Interior Design” conference five times, and has been the recipient of California Home + Design’s “Award for Showcase House Design”, the Marin Art & Garden Center’s “Outstanding Achievement Award” and Sunset magazine’s “Award of Excellence”.
As a San Francisco native and daughter of an interior connoisseur, Kendall’s passion for interior design started while studying abroad in Paris after leaving the movie industry. In Paris, Kendall became enamored by French architecture and antiques, and began traveling abroad extensively, importing select pieces to the United States. With a passion for tradition and an eye for hot new trends, Kendall's true expertise lies in her ability to artfully mix authenticity and modernity to match her clients' tastes. Recently, she has helped several clients create “Healthy Homes”, in addition to focusing on sustainability and green-living.
Over the years, Kendall’s signature line has been showcased in successive retail stores, including Patina Atelier, Threshold by Design, and now Kendall Wilkinson Home.
